Ahmed Sylla, a French comedian, returns with Origami, a title that sets the tone: journeys that fold, crease and unfold according to choices, joys and failures. After more than ten years on stage, he recounts how he has often bent over backwards to make people laugh, and wonders what his trajectory might have become had he not packed up and left his hometown. He weaves together memories, characters and everyday scenes, varies angles and rhythms, and unrolls, fold by fold, a self-portrait in motion.
Ahmed Sylla will present Origami at L’Olympia in Paris on 31 October 2026. It is an occasion to watch closely what shapes a path and how it is reassembled, amid detours, turns and straightaways.
