Boston Manor

Boston Manor bring their sharpened blend of punk urgency and moody alt-rock to The Garage in London on 13 December 2026. Formed in Blackpool in 2013, the quintet first made their mark on the UK pop-punk circuit before pushing their sound into darker, more atmospheric territory. From early EPs to debut album Be Nothing in 2016, then Welcome to the Neighbourhood in 2018, the band has gradually traded straight-ahead bounce for denser textures and a grittier, urban edge.

That shift continued with Glue in 2020 and the Desperate Times Desperate Pleasures EP, before Datura (2022) and Sundiver (2024) deepened the contrast between abrasive guitars, brooding electronics and melodic release. On stage, Henry Cox’s vocals move from intimate confession to raw bite, while the twin guitars and a tight rhythm section drive songs that swing between tense build-ups and clear-cut hooks. Expect a set that threads the needle between early, emo-tinged anthems and the more shadowy, cinematic cuts of their recent records, without losing the directness that first defined them.

Boston Manor’s live shows hinge on dynamics: restrained verses that breathe, choruses that land fast, and lyrics that sketch out late-night streets and frayed relationships.
