Introduced to rap by his friends, 8ruki quickly began writing and posting his first tracks on SoundCloud. Spotted in what was then called the French underground, he experiments with unexpected flows over inventive productions. In 2019, Steam laid the groundwork: a debut project that established his direction, balancing melodic boldness with a keen sense of rhythmic detail.
Since then, 8ruki hasn’t slowed down. In 2025 he relaunched PoweredByRuki, an expandable project revised three times earlier in the year, before releasing a series of singles that announce LOBBY, his upcoming album in dialogue with his Green Lobby mixtapes. On April 10, 2026, he arrives at the I.Boat, 1 Bassins à Flot, Bordeaux, for a set that links his beginnings with his new directions.
Rowjay, a Quebec rapper, has carved out a distinctive place in the Francophone scene with trap built on synth-heavy beats and lyrics that move between French and English. His signature: wide bass, crisp rhythms and choruses crafted for call-and-response, all delivered with a flexible flow and precise placements that really come alive live. From Montreal he has multiplied projects and collaborations, building a catalogue designed for the stage, ranging from high-energy tracks to more melodic pieces.
