Sniper

Formed in 1997 in Val-d’Oise, Sniper brought together Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko and DJ Boudj. The group left a mark on French rap with three landmark albums: Du rire aux larmes (2001), Gravé dans la roche (2003) and Trait pour trait (2006). Their work features direct, uncompromising writing, the echo of the housing estates, a frank social critique and a storytelling approach that helped shape their identity.

In 2026, Aketo and Tunisiano relaunched the project on stage as a duo, under the Sniper duo banner. On December 11, 2026, Sniper is at Le Rocher de Palmer in Cenon: an opportunity to revisit a catalogue that has stood the test of time, to present rearranged classics and unveil new tracks, reaffirming a voice rooted in socially conscious rap.

On stage, the duo embraces a return to their roots: precise lyrics, complementary flows and a more mature sound, freed from past tensions. Their stated line of conduct: respect, authenticity and energy, with nods to their standout tracks and a clear desire to reconnect with the audience while opening a new chapter.
