Info
Clinton Fearon takes to the stage again with a show devoted entirely to the repertoire of The Gladiators, the band he was one of the pillars of for nearly twenty years. A bassist, singer, and songwriter, he dives back into these tracks he often co-wrote, with that blend of taut roots reggae and narrative singing that is his signature: a melodic bassline, classic rhythms, and lyrics that speak as much of daily life as of political and spiritual struggles.
On stage, Fearon surrounds himself with his faithful Riddim Source musicians, featuring a brass section, percussion, and backing vocalists to give these live-oriented tracks greater impact. Expect to hear classics such as "Chatty Chatty Mouth" or "Jah Works," performed without forced nostalgia, but with the energy of a musician who has always lived reggae as a direct form of expression. See you on May 28, 2027 at Lo Bolegason, in Castres.
