Info
Supergrass return to Birmingham on May 5, 2027 at O2 Academy Birmingham, bringing back the Oxford band’s sharp blend of britpop, punk snap and classic British pop craft. Built around Gaz Coombes, Mick Quinn and Danny Goffey, with Rob Coombes adding keys and extra texture, their songs have always moved fast: tight rhythms, big hooks, and that slightly wired edge that made them stand out in the mid-90s rush.
Expect a set that can jump from early, nervous guitar rush to more layered, full-band moments, reflecting how the group widened its sound across albums like I Should Coco and In It for the Money, then into richer arrangements and moodier shades later on. After splitting in 2010 and reuniting in 2019, Supergrass on stage is still about momentum, sing-along choruses, and a band chemistry that keeps the tunes punchy without feeling stuck in nostalgia.
