Info
On February 13, 2027, SOAK lands at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow for a night that’s all about close-up songwriting and emotional detail. The project of Derry-born artist Bridie Monds-Watson moves in that sweet spot between indie folk, dream pop and alternative pop, where a voice, a guitar and a few carefully placed textures can carry a whole story.
From the early, stripped-back melancholy of Before We Forgot How to Dream to the sharper edges of Grim Town, SOAK’s songs have grown in shape and colour without losing that intimate, direct tone. Live, expect a set that plays with space and dynamics: quiet confessions, hooks that sneak in softly, and rhythms that loosen up when the newer material takes over. Special guests will warm things up, but the core of the night is SOAK’s way of turning coming-of-age themes, identity and messy bonds into tunes you can actually feel.
