Info
On October 29, 2026, at The Engine Shed in Lincoln, The Wonder Stuff bring their sharp-edged, hook-heavy alternative rock back to the stage. Built around Miles Hunt’s unmistakable writing and that bracing mix of taut guitars and big British choruses, their set is the kind that moves fast: punchy songs, singalong refrains, and the occasional sideways lyric that keeps things from getting too polished. Over the years they’ve stretched the template with more acoustic colours too, so expect a show that can switch from loud and direct to something looser and more textured without losing momentum.
Also on the bill, Inspiral Carpets tap into the same UK indie lineage from a different angle: danceable, melodic, and driven by that classic organ swirl that helped define their Madchester-era sound. With tight choruses and a slightly darker bite under the pop lift, they’re built for rooms where people actually want to move. Together, it’s a night that connects late-80s and early-90s alternative energy with the kind of live focus these bands are still good at delivering.
