Info
Laibach is a Slovenian band founded in 1980 in Trbovlje, then part of Yugoslavia. A prominent figure on the European industrial and experimental scene, the group is also one of the founding members of the artistic collective Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK).
Since its beginnings, Laibach has developed a universe blending music, performance, visual arts and political reflection. Its aesthetics subvert the codes of power, propaganda, and totalitarian ideologies to question their mechanisms.
Musically, the group moves between industrial, electronic, rock, martial music and neoclassical. It is also known for its reinterpretations of popular pieces, notably reimagining the Beatles, Queen, and national anthems through its sonic identity.
With over forty years of activity, Laibach continues to release new projects and perform internationally. In 2015, it became the first Western band to give a concert in North Korea. Laibach will be performing at La Machine du Moulin Rouge, in Paris, on February 14, 2027 at 7 p.m.
