Fat Dog land at Rough Trade East in London on October 4, 2026 for a matinee set built around their new album Cancel Me (I’m Tired), out on Domino. Formed in London in 2020, the band has made its name the old way: by turning shows into sweaty, fast-moving collisions of post-punk bite, dance-punk drive and blunt electronic pressure.
On stage, Fat Dog’s sound runs on tight synth lines, rave-leaning rhythms and sharp left turns that can slip in unexpected colors, including flashes of klezmer via sax. Led by Joe Love and now operating as a full band, they’ve sharpened their approach across early tours and a steady run of releases, always keeping that nervous, wired momentum at the center. Expect the new material to sit right next to the tracks that first put them on the radar, with the same push-pull between rock energy and dance repetition.
