On December 3, 2026, Mélissa Laveaux will be on stage at La Bouche d’Air - Salle Paul Fort, in Nantes, carried by At My Softest…, an album threaded through stories of family, illness, and a relationship to grief that recurs as a motif. There she assembles childhood memories, rituals, intimate vignettes, and forms of exorcism, with her own distinctive way of making the guitar ring between indie pop, fingerpicking with psychedelic overtones, and bursts of Latin rock.
As the tracks unfold, her voice dialogues with that of her sister Cassandre, like a thread stretched between memory and ghostly presences. The songs become spaces where the body, fragility and disability are faced head-on, with literary references and a political consciousness that also surface. On stage, she is surrounded by Élise Blanchard (bass, vocals), Martin Wangermée (drums) and Julien Cavard (guitar, keyboards, flute, vocals).
