On November 1, 2026, Hugues Aufray makes a stop at Carré des Docks in Le Havre, Normandy, with Escapada!, a tour conceived as a journey through a life of songs. Always with a guitar slung over his shoulder, he takes to the road again with a blend of folk, ballads and choruses that we know by heart, balancing Spanish heritage, a taste for storytelling, and a sense of community.
On stage, Aufray traverses his classics that have accompanied several generations: Santiano, Céline, Adieu Monsieur le Professeur, Stewball, Hasta Luego, Le Petit Âne Gris, L’Épervier… An opportunity to also revisit the thread that has always followed him, between French tradition and Anglo-Saxon echoes, the thread that saw him leave his mark on the 1960s by translating Bob Dylan into French. Surrounded by his musicians, he delivers a simple and direct concert, meant to be sung together and to let the songs speak for themselves.
