Info
On 16 June 2026 at Tramshed Cardiff, Drowning Pool lead a night built on heavy riffs and no-frills hooks. Formed in Dallas in 1996, the band made their mark with Sinner and its anthem Bodies, then kept refining a balance of crunch, groove and direct choruses. With Ryan McCombs back on vocals since 2023, the lineup leans into that core sound, pulling from early 2000s staples through to Strike a Nerve, driven by C.J. Pierce’s guitars, Mike Luce’s drums and Stevie Benton’s bass.
Also on the bill, Spineshank bring a Los Angeles strain of metal that fuses industrial pulse and nu metal bite. First heard on Strictly Diesel and sharpened on The Height of Callousness, their approach threads serrated riffs with programmed textures and a melodic edge. Reunited around Jonny Santos, Robert Garcia and Tommy Decker, the band folds in material from Anger Denial Acceptance and beyond, keeping the focus on tension, rhythm and compact, hard-hitting hooks.
