Norwegian progressive rock band Airbag returns to England for a rare London show at The Underworld on 24 October 2026. Their live sets are built on spacious guitars, slow-burn dynamics and melodies that unfold with intent, shaping an immersive, cinematic sound.

Formed in Oslo in the mid-2000s, Airbag draws from Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree while staking out their own terrain: atmospheric textures, patient crescendos and songwriting that favors mood over flash. Since Identity (2009), they’ve traced a path through All Rights Removed (2011), The Greatest Show on Earth (2013), Disconnected (2016) and A Day at the Beach (2020), refining a balance between weight and restraint.

Their sixth album, The Century of the Self (2024), deepens that approach with longer forms and clear thematic focus. On stage, the band translates these pieces with meticulous interplay and attention to tone, letting the music breathe and build without hurry. This London date promises a set that weaves new material with key moments from across their catalogue, tailored to a room where detail and dynamics can land.
