Westside Cowboy

On 24 November 2026, Westside Cowboy brings its country-tinged indie rock to Saint Luke's & The Winged Ox, Glasgow. Formed in the UK by Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy, the quartet writes and plays as a unit, shaping a sound of wide melodies, nervy guitars and an intentionally unvarnished edge they sum up as “Britainicana”.

Their latest chapter is the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There, released in January 2026 on Adventure Recordings (affiliated with Island Records) and recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey. The record pushes their mix of rock tension, folk-country inflections and hooks without leaning into American pastiche.

On stage, Westside Cowboy highlights the most direct, abrasive side of these songs. Recent UK touring and late-2025 US dates have tightened the set, with shared bills alongside Geese and Black Country, New Road, plus stops at Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road. In Glasgow, the set draws on the EP and earlier cuts, giving their Britainicana tag concrete shape live.
