James Taylor & His All-Star Band

James Taylor brings his All-Star Band to Scarborough Open Air Theatre in Scarborough on 25 July 2026. At the crossroads of American folk rock and soft rock since the late 1960s, Taylor has built a songbook around a warm voice, acoustic guitar patterns and close-up storytelling. From Sweet Baby James and Mud Slide Slim, with Fire and Rain and his rendition of You’ve Got a Friend, to later records like Hourglass, October Road, Before This World and American Standard, his path links personal writing with thoughtful re-readings of standards.
