Info

Interpol and Bloc Party share the stage at 3Arena, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland, on 30 November 2026.

Interpol, the New York trio of Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler and Sam Fogarino, emerged from the late-90s post-punk revival with a clear, tightly wired sound. Turn On the Bright Lights set the tone with PDA, Obstacle 1 and NYC, where sharp guitars, a hypnotic low end and an urban, restrained melancholy meet. Antics, Our Love to Admire, El Pintor and The Other Side of Make-Believe have since traced an evolution that keeps the band’s identity intact: precision, tension, and a cool darkness that nods to Joy Division and The Chameleons without imitation.

Bloc Party formed in 2003 around singer-guitarist Kele Okereke and guitarist Russell Lissack, joined at the outset by Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong. Two early EPs, Bloc Party and Little Thoughts, carried their fast, nervy energy from UK clubs into Europe, helped by support slots with Franz Ferdinand. Silent Alarm (2005) and A Weekend in the City (2007) fixed their mix of angular riffs and crisp rhythms, before a pause and a comeback with Four in 2012. On stage, the band leans into taut grooves, cutting guitars and direct, punchy hooks.
