Info
The Pogues return to the stage in Paris on 26 November 2026 at L’Olympia. Born in 1980s London and pioneers of a sound that blends Irish traditions with punk edge, they revisit the core of their repertoire here — songs that tell of love, loss and getting by, with the streak of humour that runs even through the tougher moments.
At the centre of the lineup are founding members James Fearnley, Jem Finer and Spider Stacy. They will be joined by guest musicians and vocalists from today’s Irish scene, for arrangements that look to the present without betraying the original impulse. The idea: to perform the band’s signature tracks anew, with the energy that forged their identity — between rugged ballads, reimagined traditional tunes and bursts of folk-rock.
On the bill are classics such as "Fairytale of New York," "Dirty Old Town," "A Pair of Brown Eyes," "Rainy Night in Soho," "If I Should Fall From Grace With God," and other songs that helped shape the band’s legend. It’s a return to their roots conceived for the stage, propelled by the tin whistle’s fiery voice, pounding accordions and guitars, and choruses to be sung back in the Olympia.
