Laurent Gerra se met à table

Laurent Gerra arrives at Micropolis Besançon on 12 March 2027 with "Se met à Table", a new show tailor-made for his art of impersonation and satire. On stage, he cooks up the news in his own way, stringing sketches and pastiches together with his gift for language. Politicians, singers, and figures from TV and film parade through a cabaret of images and voices where each character gets their own distinctive touch.

A precise impersonator and an actor with a keen ear, Gerra blends sketches and parody songs, moving from a fiery tirade to an old-fashioned ballad, from a press conference to an unlikely duet. The show unfolds in tableaux, with pieces that evolve in step with current events, and a taste for subversive reworking that brings both verbal tics and media postures to the fore.

Familiar figures from his repertoire appear alongside new faces picked up from the daily flow. An unvarnished, direct and lively set, conceived like a multi-course service, where what you mainly savor is the mechanics of the voices, the musical ear and the artist’s satirical eye.
