Hombres G returns to Madrid with the concert Los Mejores Años de nuestra vida on December 12, 2026, at the Movistar Arena. Formed in 1982 in the midst of the Movida Madrileña, the quartet—David Summers (vocals and bass), Rafa Gutiérrez and Dani Mezquita (guitars), and Javier Molina (drums)—consolidated a direct pop-rock sound with hints of new wave and punk-pop, lyrics about everyday life, humor and romantic entanglements, and a career that connected audiences in Spain and Latin America.

The show presents a wide-ranging survey of their discography: from their beginnings with Hombres G (1985), La cagaste… Burt Lancaster (1986) and Estamos locos… ¿o qué? (1987), to the comeback period with Todo esto es muy extraño (2004), 10 (2007), Desayuno continental (2010), the acoustic project En la playa (2011) and Resurrección (2019). With clear pop structures and an accessible rock pulse, the set blends songs from their youth with more recent material in arrangements faithful to the band’s spirit. It is a journey through different chapters of their history that invites communal singing and revisiting songs that remain alive in the memories of several generations.
