Constance « inConstance »

On March 18, 2027, Constance arrives at the Salle Poirel in Nancy with inConstance, a solo in which she gives flesh to a gallery of fully formed yet battered figures. An actor and writer, she mixes biting wit and tenderness to tell of a moment when emotions overflow, when everything cracks both inside and out, and when one must relearn how to move forward. We follow her characters as facets of the same story, between lucidity, irony and small intimate tremors. Her writing remains the through-line: a raw logbook, sometimes venomous, often conspiratorial, carried by a mischievous spirit that subverts expectations.

Co-written with Pascal Duclermortier, Éric Chantelauze’s staging tightens the performance around the voices she inhabits, while Romain Trouillet’s music, Gaël Cimma’s lighting, Seymour Laval’s scenography and Julia Allègre’s costumes establish a simple, precise framework. Constance affirms an art of portraiture that is rough around the edges and deeply affecting, without posturing or ornament, turning the intimate into a theatrical playground. Stripped to the bone, with a tight focus on the human.
