Charlélie Couture

On 21 May 2026 at the Café de la Danse in Paris, Charlélie Couture presents Solissimo, an intimate onstage tête-à-tête in which he performs without a safety net. Alone, he reopens his songs, strips them of ornamentation to reveal their bare bones, moving between storytelling, song and measured speech. The performance allows for the unexpected, a few digressions, and a closeness that gives the texts room to breathe. The repertoire shifts, the pieces glide and brush against the present moment, as if for the first time.

Since his adolescence, Charlélie has embraced this solo format, born of small venues and a desire to get as close as possible to the words. His career moves between rock, blues, folk and spoken word, with an urban, narrative songwriting. Here he draws from his cycles, mixing older songs and recent fragments, privileging raw material: the grain of the voice and acoustic nuances. Solissimo is not a greatest-hits show; it is a way of inhabiting his pieces differently, with listening in mind, in an intimacy built together with the audience.
