Daniel Lavoie takes the stage to mark the 40th anniversary of the album Tension attention. Upon its release in 1983, the album made a significant impact and marked a change of style for the artist who would become one of the most recognized singer-songwriters of his generation. Daniel Lavoie’s concert is an opportunity to rediscover songs that have soothed and moved Francophone audiences over the years, carried by the energy he brings to the stage. To see a Daniel Lavoie show is to enter the world of each of his compositions.
He is accompanied by musicians: Jean-François Groulx on piano and as musical director, Paul Brochu on drums, Mathieu Désy on double bass, and Laurent Guardo on percussion. Backing vocalists are also on stage: Karine Pion, Émilie Pompa, and Myelle.
