Over the coming months, Oulu will host some of the city’s best-known events in Oulu, with a strong line-up of classical concerts and one night with a more club-oriented feel. Among the notable concerts in Oulu is Oulu Sinfonia: Virran viettelemä at Madetojan sali in September, followed by Reino Nordin at IHKU Oulu, a good fit for clubbing in Oulu as well. Later in the autumn, Oulu Sinfonia returns to the same venue with Italian ihmeet, Carmen, Keskeneräisyyden kauneus, Väisevä maa, Verdi: Requiem, and Huilujen hurmaa.
