Ace Tee

Born in Berlin in 1993 and raised in the Jenfeld district of Hamburg within a Ghanaian-origin family, Ace Tee, real name Tarin Wilda, develops an R&B fueled by hip-hop and 1990s references, with bilingual writing where German and English often coexist. Initially active under the name MEDUZV, she emerges in late 2016 with Bist du down?, recorded with Hamburg rapper Kwam E, a track with a soft, minimal groove that establishes her in a German urban scene attentive to crossings between rap, contemporary R&B and retro aesthetics. This collaboration continues on the Tee Time EP in 2017, then Ace Tee appears the same year alongside Cro on slow down and Kalim on Bis um 4. After a more discreet period, Ace Tee returns solo with the singles Hunnies and Steez in 2020, followed by the EP Ace X in the same year, where her style sharpens between laid-back singing, flexible basslines and production inspired by turn-of-the-millennium R&B. She continues with White Tee in 2021, then the AceX2000 EP in 2022, carried notably by Pink Pantha!, Savage and To the Top. Ace Tee also participates in 2022 on Es ist okay, Mensch with Balbina, Ebow and Herbert Grönemeyer, confirming a trajectory between the German pop scene, local rap and alternative R&B.
