OG LU

Born in the Gallus district in Frankfurt am Main, OG Lu places her rap within an urban and social framework directly linked to her background. Publicly emerged after the Hanau attack in 2020, initially through a text shared on Instagram, she then develops a writing that blends personal narrative, social critique, references to everyday life in Frankfurt, drug use and fighting culture, nourished in particular by her Muay Thai practice. Her style sits within contemporary German rap, with a frontal approach, often stripped-down tracks and a diction that favors direct impact over demonstration effects. Supported in her early days by her entourage and by connections with the local scene, including the crew PZK, OG Lu gradually builds her place on stage as in the studio, by releasing tracks solo or in collaboration with artists such as Traya, Wa22ermann, Ozelot or Tom Hengst. Her discography took shape with the album TKO in 2024, then Assig aber cute in 2025. OG Lu also advocates an important live practice in her career, in continuity with a music conceived as a speech act, anchored in Frankfurt and in a concrete social experience.
