LSR/CITY

Conceived by British DJ and producer Gareth Emery, LSR/CITY began taking shape in 2021 and became, from 2022, a full-fledged stage format combining electronic music, synchronized lasers, 3D visuals and live elements. Positioned as an extension of Gareth Emery’s trance universe, LSR/CITY shifts its codes toward a darker, more direct aesthetic at the intersection of melodic trance, techno and EDM. The first LSR/CITY show took place in Las Vegas during EDC Week 2022, and the project expanded through the V2 tour in 2022 and V3 in 2024 across several major North American venues, before a new chapter, LSR/CITY: CYBERPUNK, was announced for 2025. On stage, LSR/CITY goes beyond a DJ set and, depending on the date, incorporates live performances, notably featuring singer Annabel on multiple tours. On the release side, since 2023 LSR/CITY has issued a series of singles that continue this direction, including Like A Prayer, Black & White, house in the streetlight, KILLSHOT, Fable and counting on you. LSR/CITY thus represents the most narrative and immersive side of Gareth Emery’s work.
