Young Posse
Formed in South Korea by DSP Media and BEATS Entertainment, Young Posse brings together five members, Sunhye, Yeonjung, Jiana, Doeun and Jieun, in a lineup that crosses K-pop, rap and urban pop with a central emphasis on phrasing, shouted choruses and an aesthetically offbeat vibe. Young Posse debuted in 2023 with the mini-album Macaroni Cheese, followed by XXL in 2024 and Ate That the same year, developing a sound that blends hip-hop beats, club energy, vocal gimmicks and references to Korean rap. They are part of a generation of idols who work as much on attitude as on visual storytelling, with tracks where collective dynamics matter as much as individual personalities. In 2024, Young Posse also expands its terrain with the single YOUNG POSSE UP, driven by collaborations with Verbal Jint, NSW yoon and Token, followed by the track Street Carol recorded with John Park. In 2025, the special album Cold marks a more melodic inflection, without abandoning the project's hip-hop base. Young Posse's discography also includes Growing Pain Pt.1: Free, released in 2025, which extends this identity between rap, singing and very rhythmic short formats. Present on festival stages, music shows and fan concerts, Young Posse has since its debut built a rapid career, focused on collective writing, an affirmed group image and a tight blend between Korean pop and rap culture.
