Caity Baser
Born in Southampton and based in Brighton, Caity Baser came to attention in the UK during the first lockdown with songs shared on TikTok, before building an English pop project focused on songwriting, blending confession, dry humour and stories of romantic or friendly relationships. She first released the mixtape Lil CB in 2021, collecting her early tracks like Average Student, Haters, Say It Like That and Slut Shaming, then moved toward a cleaner, more direct pop sound with Friendly Sex, X&Y, Kiss You and 2020s. Her EP Thanks for Nothing, See You Never, released in 2023, continues this line with short, direct, talk‑sung songs where the melody remains central while retaining a very everyday tone. Active on the UK's emerging stages, Caity Baser appeared on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds in 2022, embarked on her first headlining tour in 2023 and joined the Loud LDN collective. Her career also includes pop‑dance collaborations with Sigala on Feels This Good and Joel Corry on Dance Around It. In 2024 she followed with the mixtape Still Learning.
