Lily Seabird
Based in Burlington, Vermont, Lily Seabird grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, before studying at The New School and then the University of Vermont, from which she graduated in 2019. Lily Seabird operates in an indie rock register shaped by singer‑songwriter writing, with songs that balance indie rock, folk and lo‑fi pop, often centered on voice, melody and spare arrangements. After her first EP, Beside Myself, released in 2021, she emerged on Vermont’s independent scene and notably played the Birdsong Festival in 2022 on a bill that also included Greg Freeman, with whom she collaborates. Her debut album, Alas, was released in 2024; she followed with Trash Mountain in 2025, released by Lame‑O Records. Rooted in Burlington’s DIY network, Lily Seabird develops a direct, intimate and unembellished song format that links everyday observation, narrative sensibility and measured acoustic or electric textures.
