Bomel

Nurtured from childhood by blues, funk and electronic music, Bomel develops a project centered on the piano, placing it at the heart of his compositions until it becomes a structuring axis of his writing. His aesthetic combines prominent keyboard lines, electronic textures and a strong sense of groove in a format that remains melodic and concise. Bomel revealed the first contours of this universe with I Left School For This, released in June 2021, a project in which instrumental music occupies a decisive place and the piano functions as a fully integrated ensemble within the arrangement. With the EP Wake Up Fall, released in December 2023, Bomel evolved his formula by incorporating his voice for the first time on most tracks, which shifts the balance of his songs without erasing the central role of the keyboard. From one project to the next, Bomel builds a compositional approach that articulates blues and funk influences, electronic production and a pianist’s perspective.
