Launched in France in 2019, Later. has developed a repertoire blending soul, 1970s rock, indie pop and touches of French touch within a band format where melodies remain central. Signed to Cookie Records from the start, Later. released two EPs before issuing their debut album, Walking on the Line, in 2023, followed by Golden Bay in 2025. The project advances with a flexible aesthetic — bright guitars, soul-derived grooves and contemporary pop songwriting — without confining itself to a single register. Notably, the track "Highway 10" was broadcast from space by Thomas Pesquet, an episode that accompanied the rapid spread of their music beyond the independent scene. Several Later. songs also appear on the soundtracks of the series Emily in Paris and Never Have I Ever. From 2023, Later. expanded its stage presence with dates across Europe and a performance at La Cigale in Paris in February 2024.
