Pureblast

Initially active under the name Baraka, Pureblast continues as a duo with a project born at the crossroads of club and live scenes, where electronic punk, techno and industrial rock intersect. Pureblast develops taut, physical music built around front-and-center vocals, percussive rhythms, abrasive basses and synthetic layers, showing affinities with dance music, progressive trance and the cold textures inherited from electronic and industrial music. The name change did not alter the project's direction: it remains conceived for the stage and for hybrid formats between concert and club. Pureblast has performed at venues and festivals associated with electronic and cross-disciplinary forms, including Berghain/Panorama Bar and RSO in Berlin, C12 in Brussels, Nuits Sonores in Lyon and Brussels, as well as Positive Education, Draaimolen, Peacock Festival, Pitch Festival and Trans Musicales in Rennes. In this way Pureblast positions its trajectory within a European scene where live performance, dancefloor culture and punk energy converge.
