Fabien Olicard

Born in La Rochelle in 1982, Fabien Olicard developed an early interest in illusionism before turning to mentalism in the mid-2000s. His stage work mixes memory demonstrations, behavioral reading, audience participation and humor in a format that draws as much from performance as from popular science. After beginnings in western France and on cruise ships, he became increasingly established on Parisian stages from 2011, first at the Comédie des 3 Bornes, then at the Point-Virgule and the Grand Point-Virgule. In 2007 he won first prize in close-up at the Cannes d’Or, an early milestone in his career. From 2016 he greatly expanded his audience through YouTube, where he publishes content about memory, attention and mental mechanisms alongside his shows. His stage creations include Mots de tête (2014), Singularité (2018), notably performed at the Olympia, and Archétypes (2022). He has also pursued editorial work on the brain and memorization, publishing several books since 2017.
