Headless Horseman

Based in Berlin, Headless Horseman has been developing a dark, physical techno since the early 2010s, nourished by ambient, IDM and industrial textures. Behind this solo project, Headless Horseman builds a tense, cinematic aesthetic where martial rhythms, spectral pads and abrasive sequences make tracks that are at once confrontational and immersive. His path has been shaped as much by releases as by live shows, with appearances at venues and formats linked to contemporary electronic music such as Berghain, Berlin Atonal and Boiler Room, which contributed to spreading Headless Horseman within the international techno scene. In both live sets and DJ sets, Headless Horseman favors a dense, narrative progression rather than a simple succession of tracks, in a register that ties industrial techno, mental tension and precise work on sonic space together.
