DYEN

Born and raised in Rotterdam, DYEN develops an aesthetic directly tied to the Netherlands’ rave history, grounded in techno hardened by 1990s gabber, hardcore and industrial textures. Active since the late 2010s, DYEN began producing at 17 and released early tracks soon after, before making a name on club and festival stages across Europe and internationally. Both sets and productions rely on fast tempos, progressively built tension and a marked taste for contrasts between drier passages, nervous buildups and frontal impacts. DYEN draws equally from neo-rave and old‑school hardcore, adding an editing approach that reintroduces certain references within their own sonic framework. Balancing contemporary techno, rave energy and gabber memory, DYEN belongs to a scene where speed, the physicality of rhythm and abrasive sonorities are central.
