P.E.A.R.L.

Based in Madrid, P.E.A.R.L. has, since the early 2010s, developed a body of work situated between hypnotic techno, dark ambient and experimental electronics. Emerging from the Spanish scene, P.E.A.R.L. released his first maxi singles in the wake of a tense, mental and percussive techno before launching Falling Ethics, a label conceived as an extension of his production practice and artistic direction. His discography ranges from his own releases on Falling Ethics to records on imprints like PoleGroup and Warm Up Recordings, in a register where loops, repetition and the sculpting of textures take precedence over immediate impact. P.E.A.R.L.’s sound pairs dry hits, deep bass, austere pads and more atmospheric drift, with regular touchpoints in electro and ambient. Alongside his productions, P.E.A.R.L. performs as a DJ on Spanish and European techno stages, with sets that extend this approach — balancing club dynamics and progressive construction.
