Bérengère Krief
Bérengère’s one to watch — she’s got real spark! A petite blonde from the class of 1983, Bérengère Krief began studying in 2003 at the Acting Studio in Lyon, the school run by Joëlle Sevilla (who is Alexandre Astier’s mother, known from Kaamelott). She travelled a long way before mounting her first one‑woman show in 2009, «Ma mère, mon chat & Dr House». Before that, Bérengère Krief took part in numerous theatre projects across a range of styles, from Shakespeare to Lilian Lloyd’s theatrical road movie «Nationale 666», but what she loves most is acting and making people laugh by talking about everyday life as a woman. In 2010 the comedian won the Rire & Chanson prize thanks to her appearance at the Paris Fait sa Comédie festival. And in 2011 the Bérengère Krief phenomenon grew further with the series «Bref», in which she plays Marla, Kyan Khojandi’s regular fling who buries her cat Croquette in his garden.
