Thomas VDB
Thomas VDB (Vandenberghe) is a French actor and journalist, born in 1977 in the Somme. As a teenager he developed a passion for rock music and theatre. Between his various rock bands and the shows he took part in, Thomas VDB found time in 1997 to join radio station Béton and to write freelance pieces for the rock magazine Rock Sound, which he joined some time later as a journalist. He went on to become the magazine’s editor-in-chief, while continuing to perform on stage and take part in shows. In 2005 he became the official presenter of the French Air Guitar competition and the following year Thomas VDB wrote his first one-man show, “Thomas VDB en rock et en roll”. The show was a great success and it led to him being noticed by the Jamel Comedy Club in 2007. Hired by Canal+ and by Mouv’, Thomas VDB opened for Gad Elmaleh. After working as a contributor on France Inter, he returned to the stage in 2011 with a new one-man show, “Presque célèbre”.
