Schiller

Electronic project founded in 1998 in Germany, Schiller is led by musician and producer Christopher von Deylen, originally from Visselhövede and based in Berlin. Initially a duo with Mirko von Schlieffen until 2001, it then became his main project. Situated between melodic trance, ambient and electronic pop, Schiller develops a cinematic universe where atmospheric pads, slow pulses and melodic synthetic lines structure albums often conceived as thematic journeys. The first record, 'Zeitgeist' (1999), was followed by 'Weltreise' (2001) and 'Leben' (2003), which consolidated this approach at the border of chill-out and club music, before 'Tag und Nacht' (2005), 'Sehnsucht' (2008), 'Atemlos' (2010) and 'Sonne' (2012) broadened the spectrum toward a more vocal electronic pop. Schiller regularly works with singers from pop, rock or Celtic music, while also releasing more instrumental projects such as 'Opus' (2013) or 'Future' (2016). Schiller's tours rely on an immersive stage design combining electronic lineup, guest vocalists and visual creation around long, extended versions of the studio repertoire.
