Satin Jackets

Satin Jackets is the project of German producer Tim Bernhardt, based in Wuppertal, operating in a nu‑disco and melodic house vein with shades of electronic pop. The project emerged in the early 2010s with a series of moderate‑tempo singles characterized by supple basslines, bright synths and a strongly summery atmosphere. Satin Jackets quickly moved toward song-based formats by collaborating with vocalists such as Scavenger Hunt, David Harks and Panama, anchoring the sound between a gentle dancefloor vibe and pop songwriting. The debut album Panorama Pacifico was released in 2016 on the Belgian label Eskimo Recordings, followed by Solar Nights in 2019, which deepened the blend of nu‑disco, electro‑pop and Balearic sonorities. Hidden Treasures (2021) collected rare tracks and collaborations, and Reunion (2022) introduced more introspective, downtempo textures while remaining faithful to an accessible melodic approach. Active as a DJ, Satin Jackets plays clubs and festivals across Europe and internationally and maintains a steady output of maxis, remixes and collaborations at the intersection of house, chill‑out and indie dance.
