Remzcore

Under the name Remzcore, Rémi Dechoux runs a project from France focused on frenchcore and several strands of hardcore, with strong nods to early hardcore and gabber. He began producing in the early 2010s and first gained recognition as part of the duo Brutal Jesters, before continuing solo from 2016. Remzcore’s trajectory has since unfolded within the European hard dance scene, where he hones an approach that is more fluid than strictly codified, balancing fast rhythms, abrasive textures and references to older hardcore sonorities. In 2018 Remzcore launched his own label, Remz Roster, through which he issues much of his music, and in 2021 he opened a second label, Cawfee Break, intended to host other producers. On stage, Remzcore has played at events such as Defqon.1, Dominator, Masters of Hardcore, Ground Zero, Dream Nation, Thunderdome and Tomorrowland. This trajectory places Remzcore at the intersection of direct frenchcore and a broader hardcore, in a register where club energy remains central.
