Rels B

Based between Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona, Rels B—also known as Skinny Flakk—has established himself in the Spanish-speaking urban scene with a blend of melodic rap, R&B and Latin influences. Born in 1993 in Palma de Mallorca, he started out as a sound technician and producer before releasing his first tracks online in the mid-2010s, cultivating an independent aesthetic around his Flakk Team collective. His early projects laid the groundwork for a world built on everyday stories, romantic relationships and personal aspirations, characterized by a laid-back flow and a strong focus on vocal melodies. The albums “Boys Don’t Cry” (2016) and “Flakk Daniel’s LP” (2018) positioned him in a register where mellow trap, classic hip-hop and pop-leaning hooks intersect. With “La Isla LP” (2020), “Smile Bix :)” (2022) and “Afrolova ‘23” (2023), he broadened his palette toward reggaeton, afrobeat and more dance-oriented moods while maintaining accessible, introspective songwriting. Rels B has collaborated widely across the Spanish and Latin urban scenes, favoring a hybrid approach between rapping and singing that suits both clubs and intimate listening.
