Ness
Originally from Sardinia, Ness has been developing a career as a DJ and producer since the 2000s, focused on deep, hypnotic and atmospheric techno, with significant emphasis on ambient textures. With a background in sound engineering, Ness has progressively refined an approach in which attention to detail, rhythmic tension and the construction of evolving sonic spaces play a central role. His trajectory has been shaped both in clubs and festivals on the international techno scene and through work as a label manager, carried out over the years in connection with Mono Records and The Gods Planet. In 2018 Ness also launched Ness Reworks, an extension of this curatorial activity. In his productions as well as in his sets, Ness explores a spectrum ranging from mental and dub techno to more immersive soundscapes, featuring restrained rhythms, dark timbres and a constant quest for sonic depth.
