No Money Kids

Born in Paris in the mid-2010s, No Money Kids established itself as a duo featuring Félix Matschulat on vocals and guitar and JM Pelatan on bass and production, at the crossroads of electric blues, alternative rock and electronic textures. From their earliest recordings the band adopted a direct approach built around stripped-down riffs, a rough voice and programmed rhythms that create a dark, tense atmosphere between garage rock, indie and urban influences. Their trajectory is supported by a regular live presence in French venues and festivals, where the studio aesthetic—loops, electronic pads and carefully crafted atmospheres—is translated into an energetic live format. The discography includes I Don’t Trust You (2015), Hear the Silence (2017), Trouble (2018) and Factory (2021), reflecting progressively denser arrangements and an increasing role for electronic elements while retaining a blues-rock foundation. No Money Kids’ tracks also find resonance in visual media through sync placements in film, television and advertising, helping to extend the duo’s universe beyond the music circuit.
