La Jungle

Based in Mons, Belgium, La Jungle has been developing a duo format led by Jim and Roxie since 2013, at the crossroads of techno, krautrock, trance and noise. La Jungle makes repetitive, physical music built on short motifs, rhythmic rises and a sustained tension that brings the energy of club rock closer to a trance logic. The project established itself first on stage: in just over a decade more than 600 concerts have been announced within an independent circuit where La Jungle moves between venues, festivals and alternative stages. Their discography includes six studio albums, plus remixes, splits, live recordings and demos, reflecting a steady output. In 2020 La Jungle also launched the label Hyperjungle Recordings, a logical extension of their DIY work. Jim and Roxie also play in other groups, situating La Jungle within a broader network of projects linked to experimental, abrasive and danceable music.
