Lee Burridge

Born in London, Lee Burridge built the first part of his career in Hong Kong's underground scene in the early 1990s, where his DJ sets helped fuel the local rise of a club culture mixing house, techno, progressive and more psychedelic influences. Returning to the British and international circuits, Lee Burridge developed the Tyrant project with Craig Richards, which established a very free approach to mixing based on duration, progression and contrasts of texture. As a producer, Lee Burridge moved toward deep, melodic house—often close to progressive house—with tracks and remixes marked by supple rhythms, rounded basslines and careful attention to atmosphere, notably in several collaborations with Matthew Dekay. In the early 2010s he founded All Day I Dream, first as a series of events and later as a label, asserting a more organic, airy aesthetic situated between deep house, melodic house and ambient moods. From nightclubs to outdoor formats, Lee Burridge remains associated with long, narrative sets designed to evolve the listening experience rather than stringing effects together.
