HORSKH

Driven by an abrasive industrial energy, HORSKH has been developing a French electronic project since the mid-2010s that sits at the intersection of industrial, EBM, techno and metal. Horskh’s productions revolve around percussive rhythms, saturated textures and chanted/shouted vocals, striking a balance between rock-style songwriting and club-ready efficiency. Noticed within the network of alternative and industrial scenes, Horskh released a first full-length album, Gate, in 2017, which established a sonic language of straightforward structures, fast tempos and dark atmospheres. The album Wire, released in 2020, extends this approach by accentuating contrasts between overtly electronic passages and sections closer to metal, while retaining a compact, repetitive aesthetic. Live, Horskh translates this work into a set focused on physical impact, appearing both on rock venue bills and at events dedicated to electronic music, gradually positioning the project in a hybrid space between club culture and metal culture.
