Glennis Grace

Born in Amsterdam in 1978, Dutch singer Glennis Grace first drew attention as a teenager when she won the 1994 TV show Soundmixshow with a Whitney Houston cover, establishing early on a taste for soul and vocally driven pop. She went on to develop a career that moves between Dutch popular music and English-language pop-R&B ballads, alternating original material and covers, often supported by orchestral arrangements and an expressive register focused on large melodies. Her participation for the Netherlands in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest with "My Impossible Dream" gave her initial international exposure, later followed by her appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2018, where she primarily performed soul and pop standards. Active onstage in the Netherlands, she also joined the Ladies of Soul collective alongside other Dutch artists and continues to record and tour regularly, balancing American soul influences with contemporary Dutch pop songwriting.
