A DJ before becoming a producer, Jamie 3:26 cut his teeth in Chicago’s underground parties, absorbing the culture inherited from Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles and blending disco, funk, boogie, house and soul into a single flow. His work focuses on rearranging older and recent tracks—stretching, slicing and restructuring them to amplify rhythmic energy and basslines, with a distinctly club-oriented approach.
